We are currently working with Norfolk Libraries in Mundesley, Loddon and Stalham
Love is the Thread project. We are holding weekly sewing socials to make textile artworks that celebrate local and family history. The project will run from September 2026 – June 2027

Cloths of Kindness and Belonging
Working with Creative Arts East - Creative Socials Programme, we made Cloths of Kindness and Belonging for Breckland and West Norfolk with groups in Attleborough, Thetford and Dereham, Kings Lynn, Hunstanton and Great Massingham.

Cloth of International Welcome made with migrants in Diss working with Creative Arts East.
Projects 2024
Stitched Stories – A Community Celebrates Their History
Stitched Stories was a community local history project with the National Centre for Writing at Dragon Hall on King Street in Norwich. We had regular workshops with a group of sewers to explore the history of Dragon Hall and the King Street area. We shared memories and experiences which we embroidered onto clothes that were exhibited on a washing line in the gallery at Dragon Hall over the summer of 2024.

Darning the vulnerable – Stitching Communities Together
We made a Cloth of Kindness with Doorway Women’s Services, a charity supporting women who are victims of sexual violence, exploitation and coercion. We ran weekly workshops over a period of months working with vulnerable women focusing on kindness and healing.

Julian of Norwich 650th Anniversary Cloth of Kindness
We worked in Julian’s Parish at The Julian Campus, the Doorway Women’s Project, Sue Lambert Trust, and Charles Darwin Primary School to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the writing of Julian of Norwich’s ‘Revelations of Divine Love’ - the first book known to have been written in English by a woman.
People from as far away as Canada, North America, Australia, Europe, and Asia have contributed embroidered patches to celebrate Julian of Norwich and her legacy.
The finished Cloth of Kindness is on permanent display at the Julian Centre on Rouen Road in Norwich.

Projects 2021
Norwich Theatre - Creative Community Recovery Programme
We worked with Norwich Theatre, as part of the Creative Community Recovery Programme for older adults and Connecting Bowthorpe. The Light out of Dark Cloth of Kindness was displayed at Bowthorpe Arts Festival in July 2021.
We also ran Cloth of Kindness workshops supported by Awards for All for those affected by domestic abuse during the coronavirus pandemic.
